Utility Locator Technician
Our Subsurface Utility Engineering & Consultation Department employs technicians to work on project sites to locate underground utilities through non-destructive methods. The most important qualifications for this position include:
- Three (3) years of private and /or public utility locating experience preferred
- Hazwoper 40 and OSHA 10 is a plus
- Ability to research and review record drawings and identify utilities from field observation
- Knowledge of different types of utility locating equipment and methodologies
- Capable of making field decisions without direct supervision
- Must have excellent communication skills and a team attitude
- Must have a valid Driver’s License
- Technicians will be required to have a flexible work schedule with some instate travel
- The position reports to our SUE Principal

Civil Engineer Designer
Our Civil Engineering Department employs energetic, self-motivated, and technically competent individuals to provide a wide variety of related services. The most important qualifications for this position include:
- Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering or a relevant Engineering field
- P.E. license in New Mexico or the ability to License within 2016, OR;
- E.I.T. certificate and plans to pursue Professional Licensure
- 4 to 7 years of design experience;
- Proficiency in AutoCAD or other relevant design support software is required;
- Experience producing project deliverables and construction plan sets independently;
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail;
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills;
- Motivated to learn in a dynamic environment with short deadlines;
- Interest in working with multiple disciplines and on various types of projects;
- Ability to research and review record drawings
- Must have excellent communication skills and a team attitude
- The position reports to our Civil Engineering Principal
